The Gaesong industrial complex which has inherited the geographical and historical characteristics of Gaesong, demonstrates the possibility of inter-Korean economic cooperation, a major nodding region on the Korean Peninsula. There have also been many periods when inter-Korean relations have not been running smoothly due to political fluctuations, but the complex is still considered a major symbol of alliance between the two Koreas. The spatial features of the complex were created by a constant institutional evolution process between the two countries, as well as the proper combination of South Korean capital, technology and the North’s workforce. This article aims to show that when spatial thinking for the unification of Korea is shared and accepted, the opportunity for common peaceful values can be enhanced.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
